Magic Clock Tower

I have finally finished this and it's beautiful and works as it should - love it. However, not enough info in the book. I ended up using super glue in some spots to hold some bits together, even though it wasn't supposed to be required in these areas. It was frustrating and you need patience. I stuffed up one section and had to purchase some replacement parts which was delivered in fairly good time. I had difficulties with the on/off touch section but after emailing the lovely staff, they replied promptly and personably with a fix which worked. They advised that I should replace the nano tape holding the PCB with sticky tape to hold the PCB in place. So all in all, it is wonderful, but very tricky and caused a few more grey hairs.

The DIY Miniature House Kit is a bit more challenging that some of the book nooks I’ve put together, but it has so many fun and interesting details like a working clock, lighted lamp stand, and the tower. It’s intricate and requires time and patience to put it together properly. This kit comes with clue, a tiny metal hammer, and all the working components. The instructions are in black and white and not as easy to read. I prefer when they have colored photos and more detail. Overall, it’s a good value and I’ve enjoyed most of the kits from this brand.

Loads of fun to make. Parts were clearly marked and very good quality. Took longer to make than the 4 hours it said on the box but that was fine with me. It lights up and it's really cute!

I have to say that this is one of my favorite book nooks! It was fun and easy to put together - the spinning tower is a great feature and super cute. Great quality, color and details. This is a MUST for fellow book nookers!

Very difficult and frustrating. I’ve done a few of these and I will not use your brand again. I had to literally cut a hole in it to get the touch pad to work for the electronics. Parts of it didn’t fit properly. I finished it but it was not fun and I was very disappointed.

Fun bookend that's also a clock! Little smaller than I realized, but includes magic store, second story clock tower, & side rotating tower! Ok, just the upper half, but still!I unfortunately got some glue strands stuck on the "window", but just adds to the spooky factor. Also, doorway doesn't include plexiglass dust block, so will need to figure that out. Otherwise, very creative build, more fun & better explained than most. I would recommend watching the video when testing the electrical parts, as that's not explained quite as well, but basically, you're just testing all the part connected to the circuit board, from sound, to multiple light connections, to the rotating motor. Also, clock runs on separate battery that you'll have to dismantle the roof to replace, but if you only did snap in instead of glue (shouldn't need glue; very secure) should be fine.Very special & fun! I painted the edges of some pieces, but less needed than other builds. Highly pleased!

The picture-directions aren't as clearas in some of the others I've done. Spcifically, the round turret on the side isn't going together at all, possibly because I might have the right circles in the right order or pointing in exactly the right directions.

The kit is very well made. Sturdy. Pieces fit together well. I had some trouble with some of the snap in pieces coming out as I put pressure applying another part. I suppose I could have glued the joints to prevent that. It is important to make sure the tabs are all the way in. I had difficulty getting the tower to fully slide into place, but it finally did. There are many tiny parts to place on the inner shelves. I found some of them to be too cluttered, and chose to leave one or two of them off. The project took way, way longer than stated. The instructions were very clear and well written, easy to follow. It is a tedious process at times, but working on it for a short time each setting, I found very relaxing. The finished product is awesome! I love the inside lights, and moving parts. I think it would be very hard for someone with large fingers.

This was a really fun kit to put together. It came with absolutely everything required except a pair of pliers needed for the jump rings. It even came with a tiny hammer that came in really handy. Some of the really small stuff with kind of a pain like the miniscule books. Almost needed a magnifier. But all in all I was very pleased and it looks charming in my living room.

My son has built several book nooks and said this was one of his favorite nooks to assemble. The rotating inside and glass ball on the top with the solar system inside is really impressive. Our biggest complaint is the sound. the speaker is probably defective and the sound is very low and tinny. The item is beautiful when finished,

This book nook kit is super cute and really well made. The wood pieces are high quality with lots of tiny details that make the finished scene look impressive. It even comes with a little wand-shaped remote to turn the lights on and off, which is a fun touch.Assembly was straightforward but took a few hours, so it’s more of a relaxing weekend project than a quick one. I used a bit of glue between some pieces to make it sturdier, and it came out great. It’s a beautiful addition to my bookshelf.

Very nice packaging. Outer box has castle name with innwr box sealed and tapped up. Inside all supplies are sealed and well organized. So far very nice quality.

I love the detail

Its an absolutely lovely piece, that I would recommend taking your time with. I rushed a bit and had to go back and refit a few things. Take your time, do a proper job, its so worth the effort.

Professionally made and engineered.Purchase hobby glue for assembly. All parts fit tightly. Instructions are easy to follow.

It’s easy to put together if you follow the instructions accurately. It was fun to see all the little model details and I enjoyed putting this together I can’t wait to see some more from this seller.

Had a great time putting this together and it looks so cute in my shelf.

Fantastic craft I loved every bit of it. Instructions were great. The finished product looks incredible on my shelf next to my Harry Potter collection. It was a little tricky but not bad, just enough to be occasionally challenging in a fun way. Great for a beginner. I didn’t realize the light was a tap sensor light where I tap the top of the store and it turns on and off - that was a really fun surprise!
