A fast little booknook, I bet this would be great for a beginner. The kitty on the desk looks just like mine, I love it!

Easy to follow and looks great. I really enjoyed putting it together.

I am obsessed with these. This is my first one and I have five more coming. Just adorable and just that perfect touch of whimsy for a library. You will need to find a quick drying craft glue. I used the Aleenes Turbo tacky glue….I’ll just say Aleene needs to work on her turbo. Took too long to set up in my opinion. I’m going to keep looking. Get you a set of long tweezers! Can’t wait to do the next one

If you have a library, or a shelf with books, this is a great addition. I have a couple of these in my extensive library with plenty of places where I can put these great decorations, especially as I thin out my library. But aside from the assembly is highly entertaining.The instructions are pretty good. I depended mostly on pictures since the verbiage is very cryptic, but sometimes useful. There are some ambiguities and so, a few times, I had to go back and redo. You need a good clear glue and some clear tape. Connecting the pieces is not easy many a time. I used a small Jeweler's hammer a few times. You have to persevere, when a connection gives trouble. Some pieces are fragile and break. The manufacturers have supplied extra pieces for such cases. I broke two or three pieces where the extra ones were available, and none when they were not. The tape is useful to route the wires, even if it is not in the instructions. You also need tape to hold the pieces and let the glue dry in some cases. Overall, it was all good, and the final product looks great.There are pieces of all sizes. Although some are very small and harmless, there are enough of the right size to pose a choking hazard for small children. I strongly recommend against it for any household with small children, and caution for people with young cats, kittens and puppies.

This is my 3rd booknook, and was one of my favorites I have made so far. They are so easy to assemble and are so beautiful in my book shelf

I have put together several BookNooks. This one is my favorite. It went quickly and is very pretty.

This book nook is BEAUTIFUL and I love it so much.

When I opened the box up, I found five perfectly prepared sheets of pre-cut wood. You simply punch the pieces out (they are numbered very clearly) and follow the instructions. There's a sheet of stickers from which you make the books (by wrapping stickers around the wood forms), and a bag with the light apparatus and the coffee cup that goes on the table.

The instructions were very clear. There were only two steps where I was a little confused about what to do, but by the end I got everything assembled as it should be. For such an intricate piece, I think that's amazing.

I expected to need two hours to assemble this, but it ended up taking me 3.5 hours. Several people online have expressed disbelief that it only took me 3.5 hours, but that's the God's honest truth.

The book nook was a very fun and enjoyable little book nook that took just a few hours to complete. This bookshop has doors that open and the scene is of a cozy little reading/book nook and a window with a winter scene making it feel cozy when lit up.

The quality is great, the lighting was easy and works great. This book nook is a smaller book nook but is just very charming and really cute.

The attention to detail on these book nooks are incredible. The assembly is easy to follow and the quality is great. I love building these! I definitely recommend it.

Highly recommend I have done 5 from this company always the best quality and I love that we have stickers not just paper to cut. The lights always work and easy to place. Don’t really need glow the pieces fight to gather easily.

I love the products. All of the book nooks I have made have been enjoyable and creative. This one is no exception. It's on the simpler side, so it would be great for beginners. The doors opening is such a cute and fun design. I love how the book covers are stickers, so much easier than gluing paper on like other puzzles out there. Would definitely recommend for your book shelf.

This project was super easy to assemble, very little glue needed- everything is designed to snap together easily. The whole thing took me about 2 hours to assemble, but I have done a ton of these, so I have some experience. That being said, I think this would be a great project for any skill level and a fun thing to do with kids, maybe around 8-11? Not sure about the age group, but would be a great rainy-day activity that they could keep. It turned out really cute and I plan to add it to my library shelves. Would definitely recommend!

This was such a fun set. Its so much smaller then normal book nooks. Width and height! Its an adorable mini. It also makes it alot faster to complete. I was able to do it in one sitting. Which Is never the case for me for a regular size nook. I have used this brand before and they always have good quality parts. They fit well together, the printing is good and the wood is sturdy. I especially like this set because the closing doors are unique. I personally haven't seen a set like that before and it's so fun! The light shining through even when shut is really pretty. You do need to provide your own glue.

This book nook is shorter on both the y axis and the z axis compared to the average book nook, and it is only slightly wider on the x axis compared to the average book nook. This would be great to keep between shorter books or in a smaller bookcase. It's cool that the doors can fully open and close. I have attached photos of this book nook compared to the Mulan book nook if anyone wanted to see a sizing reference. Most of the steps require glue, so some patience is needed during assembly to wait for all the glue to dry.

Great product! It was fairly easy to put together. This is the first kit that I've put together that has doors on the front and I really like that there is a little lock for the door to keep them from opening on their own. The kit lights up from the inside with a cleverly hidden touch button at the top of the box. The wires for the lights are pre-assembled which makes putting it together so easy since you don't have to try and twist wires together like in other kits (which sometimes leads to lights that may not work and much frustration). Some of the wood pieces may be a little bit loose when you put them together. I would recommend using some modeling glue or super glue. This kit didn't come with glue and to be fair, you probably don't need it, but I like to make sure that my pieces are placed and stay in place (like the little teacup on the round table - I didn't want that to move so I glued it down). It's a really charming addition to my other book nooks and I love all the little details from the books to the carpet to the cat. It looks like a Victorian bookshop. This kit took approximately five hours to assemble and is wonderfully appropriate for kids to put together.

The "wood" sheets that have the parts are a pressed-wood type material. The pieces popped out of mine very nicely and neatly, no breaking or splintering. The individual pieces popped into one another (tab type) very easily - not too tight and not too loose. I appreciate not having to glue them, and when they're too tight it can lead to so much breakage. This kit does well in that area.

Thankfully the book covers are all stickers. LOVE when they're stickers! BTW, on this type of kit the furniture and parts that you make will often not lay flat - instead they will still have tabs at the bottom for sticking into the flat surfaces (floors) later. So don't get too confused when you can't set it down on a flat surface will you build everything else! It WILL likely fall over!

Quality is far higher than other kits I’ve purchased, pieces are easy to punch out, directions are clear and complete and customer service responds promptly to any issues you may have. This particular model took me about five hours to complete, if you had never done one before it might take a few hours longer. This one is less complicated than some others I have done, but every bit as much fun.

I've lost track of how many book nooks and DIY miniature projects I've built now, but I'm still taken by surprise every once in awhile. This wonderful little book nook did just that. When I opened the box, I was surprised to see it is a smaller set than I was accustomed to, but I was so happy to realize I could build it in one sitting. The end result, as you can see, is delightful.

This is our first time trying book nook kit. We are thoroughly impressed with its quality. It provides hours of fun so far. This is an excellent kit.

This was a very easy to follow book nook. The price is great for what you get. It’s a lot of fun to put together for a first timer or if it’s your hobby. It’s very sturdy. It’s beautiful to look at and the light works great. One review mentioned a smell; it’s a cedar wood kind of smell so if you’re sensitive to that just open the box and maybe let it air out a bit. I found it pleasing. The instruction book was incredibly helpful as it’s large. There were only a few steps that were confusing but common sense allows you to work through it. Even if you mess up (I did) it’s really easy to fix and won’t destroy anything. My favorite thing about this was the kit came with everything you need except the batteries! Glue, tweezers, a tool to help you pop the items out. The books were not the ones you have to fold a bunch of times-it’s a simple wooden board and sticker which makes it easy for younger children or those with hurting hands.

My son bought me my first book nook for Christmas, and we worked on it together. I absolutely love it. So amazing how it all comes together. When I saw this one, I decided to order it hoping I can manage to put it together by myself. The details and thought process that goes into these are mind blowing and I love that they light up. I know this will make a great addition to my bookshelf!

This is my first book nook and I recommend it to everyone who loves miniatures and DIY. It comes with clear instructions, all the tools you need and it is beginner friendly.

My niece loves anything with lots of parts and place to play different scenes in. This was easy to put together, great find.

I bought this for my 15 year old daughter who enjoys building crafts. She assembled it in one sitting. It was very easy to assemble and it looks great on her bookshelf.
